Editor Eats - Palm Cove Surf Club

It is not unfair to call this place the antidote of fine dining in the area. The pace of offers a solid counter meal menu, an easy open bar and club service whilst sharing the multi million dollar vista that rivals any of the other eateries along the strip. The venue had a complete overhaul just before COVID, and the indoor/outdoor seating is exemplary of a modern club. Ten upstairs function room is a favourite for weddings and brings with it the tropical Double Island to Yorkeys panorama. The menu offers the usual Aussie club fare punctuated with some gems of QLD presence. The bug burger is a typical example of club style greatness, and presents exactly as you might expect, replacing the usual burger patty with a heap of Morton Bay’s finest poached in garlic butter. Salads are fresh and the array of domestic beers, ice cold. Prices are reasonable, and put this place firmly in the budget of family dining. With everything backed up with the palm fringed view of the coral sea.
