Well-established Cairns coffee wholesaler, Social Coffee Co has opened an espresso bar in the middle of the Woree industrial area. The bar offers customers a convenient grab-and-go experience and, of course, great coffee.
The new coffee bar has opened under the stewardship of well-known local food and drink entrepreneur Dion Miller - co-owner of Social Coffee. After selling his Sheridan St venue Providore Amore, Dion says he is ready to begin a new venture with a cafe attached to the company's wholesale operation. He explained that, as we were in an industrial area, they had decided to make the cafe grab-and-go style with a touch of elegance.
The Social Espresso Bar is situated at 35 Ponzo St and is now open for business. For the past five years, Social Coffee Co has been supplying award-winning coffee blends, barista training and coffee machine maintenance.
Social Coffee has recently welcomed Sea Breeze cafe to its extensive list of Far North clients, which already includes Providore Amore, The Spring Bean in Tolga, The Dairy by Mungalli on Shields St and The Chambers on the corner of Spence and Lake in Cairns CBD. With over 30 FNQ cafe customers, Social Coffee is constantly broadening its horizons.
