Taste Port Douglas Talent Lineup Revealed

Australia’s Top Chefs and Hospitality Talent to Head to Far North Queensland for the Seventh Edition of Taste Port Douglas.

Taste Port Douglas returns for its seventh edition from 10–13 August this year, delivering a smorgasbord of culinary masterclasses, signature dinners and unique dining experiences across the idyllic Far North Queensland (FNQ) resort destination.

Bringing together an all-star lineup of Australian chefs and hospitality talent with leading local producers and restaurants, the full lineup at Taste Port Douglas this year includes:

Over four delicious days, twenty of Australia's leading chefs and industry experts will showcase the best of the region's tropical produce across Port Douglas by joining forces with local producers and restaurants to dish out a curated culinary program of over twenty main food and drink-focused events. Event highlights include:

  • Bente Grysbaek and Ben Williamson will bring the heat with a Night of Fire x Flames of the Forest. Experience the thrill as you join masters of live fire cooking for an intimate outdoor dinner celebrating the art of producing food over fire, complete with carefully paired wines from The Other Wine Co., South Australia.
  • Join MC Guy Grossi and an esteemed lineup of Australia's top Italian chefs, including Massimo Mele, Laura and Max Sharrad, as they present La Dolce Vita - an unforgettable Italian Feast overlooking Dicksons Inlet. The evening will commence with a refreshing Aperol Spritz upon arrival, followed by three courses served in a feasting style, accompanied by a delightful package of Italian wines that will surely tantalise your taste buds.
  • Party into the sunset as Cafe del Mar partners with Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort for the ultimate Sunset Session. Immerse yourself in four hours of electrifying live DJ entertainment by Cafe del Mar DJ Beth Yen, while indulging in an all-inclusive dinner package featuring delectable roving canapés and food stations, accompanied by multiple bars serving a wide selection of beverages.
  • The final day will conclude with the Sheraton Festival Village for a day filled with live cooking demos by celebrity chefs running from 10am, including Matt Preston & Jerry Mai, Laura & Max Sharrad, Guy Grossi & Alessandro Pizzolato, and many others taking the stage. There will also be a VIP Lounge featuring complimentary celebrity chef-curated canapés and snacks, a dedicated cash bar by Diablo Co & Estrella Damm Lager, and engaging Culinary Conversations with live guest chef interviews hosted by Graeme Twine.
