FNQ Food launches the Far North Queensland Food and Drink Festival.
September 2022 will be a busy month for the epicurious, as far north Queensland will see its inaugural food and drink event. This new event is being brought to life by the team that produce FNQ Food Magazine and a swathe of new local food focus festivals across the region. Looking to provide a local showcase for food and drink producers and retailers, FNQ Food Fest is looking to spread the region's flavours across the country and beyond. The festival will include several events across the region, including a trade showcase event to match producers to buyers at all levels.
"The festival will have everything from family activities to food trucks. It will be centred around a weekend celebration of food, drink and culture based in Cairns, along with satellite events across the region," said David Leith, Director of FNQ Media, Publisher of FNQ Food.
"We want to create something that will appeal to locals and visitors alike. Designed to encourage participation at all levels and rival destination events held in other parts of Australia, FNQ Food Fest will put FNQ on the national and international food map."
