Running from 12pm until late, the festival showcases everything locals love about Far North Queensland. Visitors can explore food stalls overflowing with fresh local seafood and regional produce, sample wines from leading wineries, discover boutique breweries and distilleries, sip tropical cocktails and enjoy live music throughout the day and into the evening.
One of the event's highlights is its relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Children under 18 receive free entry, making it an easy choice for families wanting to enjoy a day by the waterfront together.

Just an hour north, Taste Port Douglas will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, with an expanded four-day festival running from 6–9 August 2026.
At the heart of the celebration is the ever-popular Festival Village, held across Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas. This vibrant tropical hub brings together acclaimed chefs, artisan producers, wineries, breweries, distilleries and food lovers from across Australia for two days of tasting, learning and celebrating.
