It’s nearly go-time in paradise. In just over a week, Port Douglas will play host to Taste Port Douglas, one of Australia’s most anticipated culinary festivals, running 7–10 August 2025.
Now in its ninth year, the festival brings together some of the nation’s top culinary talent for a long weekend of sun-drenched indulgence, set against the spectacular backdrop of Far North Queensland. Expect a high-octane mix of masterclasses, long lunches, pop-up bars, and restaurant takeovers—plus a who's who of the food world, including Manu Feildel, Colin Fassnidge, and Matt Preston.
At the heart of it all is the Sheraton Festival Village, open Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM–5 PM. Here, festivalgoers can sip and snack their way through the region’s best bites, enjoy live chef demos, and soak in tropical tunes under the palms. From local tiger prawns to fine wines and cheeky cocktails, it’s the ultimate winter feast.
Beyond the village, the program spills into Port Douglas and Palm Cove, with exclusive dinners, culinary collabs, and a party or two for good measure. Whether you’re a local or a visiting gourmand, the festival is a love letter to everything that makes FNQ taste so damn good.
